The River Plate goalkeeper is the center of news in the Argentine media.

Goalkeeper Franco Armani’s cycle in Argentina seems to be in its final stretch and there is already talk about what would come for the goalkeeper’s future.

Armani ends his contract with River Plate in December 2024, but according to information from TyC Sports, the footballer could leave earlier to return to Atlético Nacional, a club where he shone between 2010 and 2017.

“River, pay attention to the offers that may arrive. River will be expectant with the cases of Franco Armani, Paulo Díaz and Nicolás de la Cruz. The goalkeeper has a contract until December 2024, but there is a possibility that he will return to Atlético Nacional de Colombia, a team in which ‘Octopus’ said that he wanted to retire,” the media noted.

If Armani arrives, it is possible that either Kevin Mier or Harlen Castillo would be released since the Argentine, due to his great experience and being one of the purslane idols, would return to be the starter.

Franco Armani

Armani played 249 games in Nacional and won 13 titles, two of which stand out: Copa Libertadores and the South American Cup Winners’ Cup.

Likewise, in River he won eight titles and also has the 2021 Copa América, the 2022 Conmebol-UEFA Champions Cup and the 2022 Qatar World Cup in his pocket.
