Jahn is the new leader thanks to a double blow – Becker shocks Aue late in the top game
Thanks to a 2-1 home win against newly promoted Lübeck, Jahn Regensburg is at least temporarily top of the 3rd league. In the top game between Viktoria Köln and Erzgebirge Aue, the Saxons only came from behind – but conceded the late equalizer.

Win and draw: Jahn cheers and joy at Viktoria Cologne.

Aue first turns the game around – and then gives away the victory
For the top game, fifth-placed Viktoria Köln welcomed fourth-placed Erzgebirge Aue. After the guests were closer to the goal in the first half, but still went into the break goalless, Marseiler shot Viktoria into the lead after the break. However, Stefaniak and Danhof turned the game around within five minutes – but the Violets still didn’t leave the pitch as winners. Becker scored what Auer saw as an extremely bitter equalizer in stoppage time.
Double strike and two reds: Jahn jumps to first place
Jahn Regensburg is at least temporarily at the top of the 3rd league. Jahn had a hard time with newly promoted Lübeck, but Kother and Schönfelder scored shortly before half-time and forced the score to be 2-0 at the break, which wasn’t exactly in keeping with the performance. Things got turbulent in the second half: Velasco made the quick connection for VfB, then Regensburg’s Breunig was sent off with a yellow-red card. In the final phase, Sommer achieved the numerical equalizer with his emergency brake (red) – the guests were no longer able to achieve this in terms of goals.
Two trends broken: Ingolstadt catches up 0-2 in Verl
SC Verl and FC Ingolstadt faced each other with two opposing trends. While the East Westphalia team had won the last two games, the former Bundesliga club recently lost twice. And it quickly looked like the form curve of both clubs was continuing: SC took the lead after just two minutes through Lokotsch. Kanuric reported back to Ingolstadt immediately afterwards – the Schanzer were denied an equalizer due to their wasted chances. Mause only achieved this at the start of the final quarter of an hour. Both teams couldn’t get more than 2-2.
No goals in Unterhaching
There were no goals and therefore no winner in the duel between table neighbors Unterhaching (8th) and Sandhausen (9th). The SVS initially appeared to be stronger, but made little use of their advantage. In the end there was a performance-based draw that didn’t really help any team.
