Chelsea striker Cole Palmer has admitted it will be “strange and strange” for him when his side face Manchester City in their Premier League away game at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
Palmer switched from Manchester City to Chelsea in the summer of 2023 in a deal worth £42.5m.
The 21-year-old is arguably Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino's best player this season.
In the current season, he scored 12 goals and made 9 assists in 28 matches for Chelsea.
“It will be strange, a strange feeling, but I'm looking forward to it and the team is looking forward to it,” Palmer told Chelsea's website of the Blues' upcoming Premier League clash with Manchester City.
“I'm really excited to be honest, even though it's going to be weird. Obviously, I played against them at Stamford Bridge.
“But I think going back to the Etihad will be even stranger. I'm really looking forward to it. “
