Former Chelsea and Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has admitted he never liked Newcastle United playing at St James' Park.
The Magpies were something of a bogey team for Mourinho during his time in England.
The 61-year-old player had two stints at Chelsea and also coached at Manchester United and Tottenham.
He was known for his rivalry with managers such as Arsene Wenger and Alex Ferguson.
But Mourinho told FIVE: “I didn't enjoy playing at Newcastle because I never understood. Every time I went to Newcastle it was lose or draw, lose or draw. I think I won there once, probably against Chelsea, Manchester United or Tottenham. I would win one or two times out of 10.
“There was no rivalry with (Alan) Pardew or (Sam) Allardyce or anyone, I just knew that the St James game was really, really tough.”
