Mourinho explains why he can't go to Africa

Former Chelsea and Roma manager Jose Mourinho has said he can't go to Africa because of crazy fans.

Mourinho explained that every time he goes to Africa he cannot walk.

According to the Portuguese, he has children in Africa such as Didier Drogba, John Obi Mikel and Michael Essien who love him.

Speaking to FIVE presented by Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand, Mourinho discussed his relationship with African players he has coached in the past, insisting that an African player is very loyal and pure.

“I can't go to Africa. Too many (crazy fans) everywhere. Because, you know, I had, you know Didier Drogba – Ivory Coast, Geremi – Cameroon, Kalou – Ivory Coast, Obi Mikel – Nigeria, Essien – Ghana, I have children all over the world,” Mourinho said.

“Every time I go to Africa I can't walk. The kids love me. Even in Europe with many Africans, people really love me.

“To be honest, I love children and I feel that the African player is very loyal and very pure.”
